In addition to the immense health benefits of two new state-of-the-art facilities, the North Island Hospitals Project will bring significant economic benefits to each community. The project will create approximately 1,900 direct jobs and over 1,400 indirect jobs throughout both communities, as well as economic spin offs from a project of this size and scope.
