More than 70 people turned out for community information meetings hosted by Island Health in Campbell River on November 17th and the Comox Valley on November 24th.

RFP Issued For Retail Food Services at new Campbell River and Comox Valley hospitals


CAMPBELL RIVER/COMOX VALLEY – Island Health has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for
retail food and beverage services at the new Campbell River and Comox Valley hospitals when they open in late 2017.

Each of the new hospitals will have a centrally-located café. Island Health is seeking proposals from proponents that offer a retail food concept that emphasises healthy choices and local products.

Island Health to hold community information meetings this month


Island Health is hosting community meetings to share information about the work being done to support health and care in the Comox Valley, Campbell River and across the North Island. The sessions will also include an update on the new North Island Hospitals in Campbell River and the Comox Valley that are slated for completion in late 2017.
The meetings will include presentations and opportunities to ask questions.
